This Privacy Policy explains what information FreeVocabulary.com ("we," "us," or "our") collects when you visit the site, and how we use it.

No Accounts Required

FreeVocabulary does not require registration or a user account to access word lists, word pages, quizzes, or study guides. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any personal profile information to use the site.

Quizzes Are Not Stored

Quiz questions are generated and scored entirely in your browser. Your answers are never sent to our servers or stored anywhere — closing or refreshing the page clears them completely.

Standard Web Server Logs

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically logs basic technical information for every visit, such as your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you request. These logs are used only for security, troubleshooting, and understanding overall site usage, and are not linked to any personal identity.

Cookies and Analytics

FreeVocabulary does not currently set any cookies of its own. Some links on this site are Amazon affiliate links; clicking one may result in Amazon setting its own cookie on your device to track the referral, governed by Amazon's own privacy policy, not ours. If we add analytics or advertising in the future, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is collected and how you can opt out, before any such change takes effect.

Children's Privacy

FreeVocabulary is intended for students preparing for standardized tests and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Our guides and word pages may link to external resources or test-prep providers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy policies.
